Agency Funds
Agency funds, sometimes called organization funds, are charitable accounts established by nonprofit organizations to support their mission-related work. These funds can be great tools for participating in the Foundation’s investment policies and tools.
All organizations who establish funds with us receive:
- Co-investment with the Foundation’s portfolio
- Fund performance briefings
- Regular reporting

CFA’s Affiliate Grants Program
The Affiliate Grants Program is an exciting opportunity that funds projects that improve our communities in Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Mary, and Vermilion parishes. Applications open once per year.

Permanent Funds
The Power of Endowments
Endowed funds are permanent, creating a pool of charitable dollars that can address the causes you care about or support organizations of your choice—now and forever.
Endowments offer a unique and powerful way to create a lasting impact on causes and organizations by providing a reliable source of income in perpetuity. for example, a $250,000 initial gift could distribute $250,000 in grants over 25 years while also continuing to grow beyond the initial amount. This allows communities to plan and execute their visions for positive change while inspiring donors to give confidently and generously to support causes they care about.

Nonprofit Meetings
Upon request, members of our team meet with nonprofit leaders to better understand their goals and key programs. We use what we learn to help educate the community on their work, increasing opportunities for investment.
Please note that we do not take walk-ins; a visit must be scheduled in advance.

Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits
ABOUT: LANO is a statewide member organization that advocates for the nonprofit community and strengthens the effectiveness of those committed to improving Louisiana. Our purpose is to provide the necessary resources, tools and opportunities for nonprofit organizations to grow in Louisiana. Nonprofits contribute to the community and rely on volunteers (Board of Directors) to govern the organization’s affairs. Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations Board Members serve three years per term, with a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Started in 2018, Acadiana OnBoard is focused on helping to strengthen and support our community of nonprofit organizations by enhancing the pool of effective, committed board members and increasing board diversity and inclusivity.
