About the Iberia Foundation

The Iberia Foundation was established in 2007 and was the first affiliate fund of Community Foundation of Acadiana. What began as a $100 commitment and a desire to improve Iberia Parish has grown into an endowment fund in excess of $100,000 to benefit the community.

Iberia Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA), is committed to satisfying donors’ specific interests while building and strengthening community-based philanthropy throughout south Louisiana, especially in its primary eight parish service area, including Iberia Parish.

Since inception in 2007, the Iberia Foundation has granted more than $588,000 to benefit Iberia Parish nonprofit organizations, churches, and schools. Since 2013, donor-directed grants from donor advised funds to (donor-determined) nonprofit organizations, churches, and schools total more than $1 million.

As an affiliate, Iberia Foundation utilizes the resources, infrastructure and professional management of assets of Community Foundation of Acadiana while utilizing its own board of directors to focus attention on improving the community and growing philanthropy in Iberia Parish.

Affiliate Advisory Board

The Iberia Affiliate Advisory Board consists of individuals who reside in or represent Iberia Parish. CFA seeks affiliate members with integrity and a variety of perspectives, opinions and experiences who are capable and committed to the Foundation’s core purpose of building legacies and improving communities by connecting generous people to the causes they care about.
