About the Evangeline Foundation

Evangeline Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana, is committed to satisfying donors’ specific interests by supporting and contributing to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, schools and public entities throughout Evangeline Parish. The Foundation supports these organizations through the generosity of community leaders, philanthropists and you.

Evangeline Parish individuals, families and businesses can establish charitable and philanthropic Funds that they name after themselves, a family, or a company, or in memory or honor of someone.

Those Funds are either:

Donor-Directed Funds – Donors direct grant distributions to other 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, schools and public entities any time, in any amount, any year.
Permanent Funds – These Funds are never spent, but are invested, and annually generate dollars that are used for the benefit of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, schools and public entities who serve Evangeline Parish as determined by the Evangeline Foundation Affiliate Advisory Board.

Hosts an annual event to create awareness and raise funds for the Evangeline Foundation
