About the Vermilion Foundation

Vermilion Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana, is comprised of two groups of Funds – (1) donor-directed Funds, and (2) a permanent Fund for Vermilion Parish.

The Permanent Fund component is a permanent source of funding to support strategic initiatives, needs, organizations, and opportunities throughout Vermilion Parish.

The local Affiliate Advisory Board of Founders determines strategic or competitive philanthropic grants and/or investments within focus areas such as arts & culture, education & youth development, health & human services, and community development.
