Funeral arrangements have been set for Gretchen Page David Vincent and Michael "Walker" Vincent, the victims of a plane crash that occured on Saturday, December 28, 2019.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, at Our Savior's Church at 1201 E. Broussard Road in Lafayette.

The family will receive guests at the church from noon Thursday, on January 2, until the time of the service.

The family has asked that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Gretchen and Walker Vincent Memorial Fund.

Gretchen and Walker Vincent were among five who perished after the plane they boarded crashed into a field next to a U.S. Post Office near Verot School and Feu Follet roads in Lafayette, LA.

Other victims from the plane crash were Carley McCord, Ian Biggs, and Robert Vaughn Crisp II. The sixth person aboard the plane was Stephen Wade Berzas. He was hospitalized after suffering serious burns to 75% of his body.

Most of the victims had ties to Global Data Systems, a Lafayette technology management company, where Gretchen's husband, Chris Vincent, is the chief executive officer. Biggs worked as a pilot and aircraft manager for Global Data Systems. Crisp was the vice president of operations, and Berzas was the vice president of sales.

On Saturday, December 28, the plane was en route to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta to cheer on the LSU Tigers in a playoff game against Oklahoma.
