St. Landry Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana, is comprised of two groups of Funds – (1) donor-directed Funds, and (2) a permanent Fund for St. Landry Parish.

The Permanent Fund component is a permanent source of funding to support strategic initiatives, needs, organizations, and opportunities throughout St. Landry Parish, including the communities of Arnaudville, Cankton, Eunice, Grand Coteau, Krotz Springs, Leonville, Mellville, Opelousas, Palmetto and Lebeau, Port Barre, Sunset, and Washington.

The local Affiliate Advisory Board of Founders determines strategic or competitive philanthropic grants and/or investments within focus areas that can include arts & culture, education & youth development, health & human services, and community development.
