Jude Fluitt Memorial Fund donated $2000 to Trinity Outdoor Disabled Adventures, an outreach program from Acadiana Amputee Support Group.

Jude Fluitt Memorial Fund, a fund of Community Foundation of Acadiana, was established to honor the memory of Jude Fluitt who passed away when he was two days old.

“Jude has impacted more lives than we could have ever imagined and brought more people to prayer than we could have ever hoped.” said Jessie Fluitt, Jude’s mother. “We want to help our sweet baby boy continue his legacy.”

The Fund will award a grant annually in Jude's memory to a nonprofit organization such as Trinity Outdoor Disabled Adventures who provides outdoor activities for children with disabilities.

“We chose Trinity Outdoor Disabled Adventures because they enable kids with disabilities to go on hunting trips of a lifetime,” said Fluitt. “We know Jude would’ve needed an organization like this to be able to hunt with his daddy, and we are so honored to give another disabled child an experience like this.”

Another organization supported by the Jude Fluitt Memorial Fund is Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, an organization who assists families of children born with a genetic bone disorder characterized by fragile bones that break easily. It is also known as "brittle bone disease.
