Shake Your Trail Feather –> The TECHE Project

The TECHE Project’s annual Shake Your Trail Feather event will take place on Sat., Oct. 18, 2025. Paddlers are invited to celebrate the beautiful Bayou Teche National Paddle Trail by participating in a whacky Paddle Parade starting at Poche’s Country Club in Poche Bridge and ending in Breaux Bridge. Bands on barges will accompany paddlers down the bayou to set the mood. Starting at noon at Parc des Ponts in Breaux Bridge, there will be lunch, libations, merch sales, kids’ activities and live music by Amis du Teche. Those who don’t want to paddle can still join us at the parc or watch the parade from the bayou bank.
