Intro Lafayette –> Leadership Institute of Acadiana

Intro Lafayette is an immersive, one-day civic leadership experience designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, and ideas shaping Lafayette, all while building meaningful connections.

Whether you are new to Lafayette, recently returned, or simply looking to become more engaged in the community you call home, Intro Lafayette offers an insider’s look at the opportunities, challenges, and momentum shaping our region. Through engaging presentations, conversations and local insight, participants will hear directly from business, civic, and community leaders working to move Acadiana forward.

Throughout the day, participants will explore topics such as local government, economic development, education, regional history, and quality of life, gaining a broader understanding of how our community functions and the partnerships helping shape its future.

Intro Lafayette is a valuable investment for employers looking to strengthen leadership capacity within their organizations. Participants leave with a stronger understanding of the regional landscape, expanded professional networks, and greater confidence in how to engage meaningfully in the community—perspectives that can positively impact the workplace and beyond.

This year’s Summer Session of Intro Lafayette will be held at One Acadiana, located at 523 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA 70501.

Registration is $300 for the single-day session. Leadership Institute of Acadiana members receive a discounted registration rate of $275.
