The “2025 Professional Advisor Continuing Education” event, hosted by Community Foundation of Acadiana and sponsored by Liskow, took place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at The Picard Center in Lafayette, LA.
Attendees enjoyed breakfast, refreshments, and snacks while listening to presenter Paul Caspersen, CFP®, MS, AEP. The continuing education opportunity covered a range of critical topics, including: the Charitable Planning Guide to the SECURE Act, recent cases in charitable gifts of complex assets, and the important role of a Letter of Instructions in modern estate planning.
