CFA awareded almost $3 million from new oil spill fund

Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) in partnership with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) granted almost $3 million to 18 non-profits throughout Acadiana marginalized by the 2010 Deepwater oil spill.

The following grantees received grants from CFA and FFGC: Acadiana Works, ASSIST Agency, Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana, Evangeline Area Council Boy Scouts of America, Franklin Foundation Hospital, Iberia Industrial Development Foundation, Liberty Heights Community Center, Our Savior’s Church & Hope Center, Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana, Southern Mutual Help Association, St. Martin Parish School Board & School-based Health Centers, St. Mary Outreach Inc. & United Way, St. Mary & Vermilion Community Action Agency, The Family Tree, United Way of Acadiana, 16th Judicial District Family Services Division, Little Zion Community Outreach, Vietnamese Acadiana Youth.
CFA received more than 50 submissions.
