Community Foundation of Acadiana is a nonprofit, tax exempt, public charity created to help you achieve your dreams for a better community and to create a lasting legacy that improves lives for yourself, your family, business and the world we share.
You have worked hard to build a successful life and to support the causes and institutions you believe in. Charitable giving is an important part of your life.
We are YOU—representing your wishes in addressing needs that you identify as important to your giving goals.
Membership funds help provide for the operations and administrative cost of the Foundation and support our growth. Membership offers donors not quite ready to establish their own named fund, an affordable way to participate. Membership also allows existing fund donors and contributors another way to help ensure the important work Community Foundation of Acadiana does throughout Acadiana.
Signature Series Level 2 ($5,000 - $10,000)
Signature Series Level 1 ($2,500 - $4,999)
Masters Society Level 2 ($1,000 - $2,499)
Masters Society Level 1 ($100 - $999)
Members are recognized in Foundation print materials Members will also receive our annual report and will be involved in Foundation events hosted by CFA supporters. CFA members can also serve on Foundation committees.
Membership is tax deductible. Ninety-four percent (94%) is used to support on-going Foundation operating expenses; three percent (3%) is added to the Community Endowment Fund which generates unrestricted grant-making dollars; three percent (3%) is added to the Endowment Fund for the benefit of Community Foundation of Acadiana which generates dollars for the perpetual support of the foundation.
