In November 2008, the St. Mary Parish Community Fund was formally established by the organizing committee which includes Marshall Guidry, Al Lippman, Patrick and Elizabeth Little and Alice Pecoraro.  This Fund is an Affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana and is established to benefit St. Mary Parish exclusively.

As the affiliate grows, more information will be available about the Community Fund and its activities in St. Mary Parish.  The fund is currently building an endowment and hopes that philanthropists with ties to St. Mary Parish will consider a gift for the improvement of St. Mary Parish.
