The David Egan Dreamer Fund, a fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana, honors the life and creative spirit of the late songwriter and performer David Egan. He traveled the world with his music, bringing his love for Louisiana and its cultural traditions to a wide audience, all while building a rich personal and artistic legacy.
This fund's purpose is to support the arts by offering grants for creative dreams big and small, with a vision that opportunities and resources for artists not only help individuals reach their own potential, but also deliver tremendous value to communities, fostering collaborations and experiences that bring people together.
