Elemore Morgan, Jr. devoted over 30 years of teaching as a professor of Visual Arts at USL from 1965 until 1998. Today, Morgan is reconized as one of the south's finest landscape artists. The mission of the Elemore Morgan, Jr. Visual Arts Endowment is to demonstrate that the visual arts are significant cultural necessities and the endowment supports programs which reflect the passion and vocation of Elemore Morgan, Jr.

Following the example demonstrated by Blaine Thomas Duhon, the mission of the Pray Strong Fund in Memory of Blaine Thomas Duhon is to strengthen the spirituality of all, especially the young. Grants from the Fund will promote Christian education by providing tuition assistance for children with disabilities who attend feeder schools of St. Thomas More and Teurlings Catholic High Schools in Lafayette, Louisiana.
